1. Choose one supported file
Select the file on the relevant tool page. The current limit is one file at a time, up to 20 MB and 50,000 transaction rows.
How it works
The core workflow runs in browser memory. BankFileKit does not need an application-server copy of the source file.
Select the file on the relevant tool page. The current limit is one file at a time, up to 20 MB and 50,000 transaction rows.
The browser reads the file into memory and uses the local parser for that route. The source is not posted to a BankFileKit server, AI service, or analytics provider.
For CSV or Excel input, confirm field mapping, date interpretation, output layout, and account type when the workflow requires them. Ambiguous dates block download until confirmed.
Check row counts, dates, descriptions, signed amounts, blocking errors, and possible-duplicate warnings. BankFileKit does not silently remove a possible duplicate.
The browser creates the output Blob and starts the download. Review the result before import, and always keep a backup of the relevant QuickBooks company file.
Cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics receives page data and a strict allowlist of coarse tool fields. It never receives filenames, transaction content, accounts, dates, descriptions, balances, or amounts.
Current workflows
QBO and OFX readers create audit CSV files. They do not turn every financial format into a universal QuickBooks import file.
Use CSV, TXT, XLS, or XLSX input to prepare a documented 3-column or 4-column QuickBooks Online bank CSV.
Read one supported QBO Web Connect statement and export supported transaction fields and available statement metadata for review.
Read one supported OFX bank or card statement and export supported fields to a local audit CSV.
This is a free experimental beta for cautious QuickBooks Desktop testing. It has not passed a real Desktop import matrix and is not guaranteed compatible.
BankFileKit does not currently provide PDF or image OCR, QIF, QFX, IIF, QBW or QBX conversion, bank login or API connections, investment or loan OFX support, automatic categorization, reconciliation, or tax advice.
